Summary: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Cascades Resource Area has made a decision to thin 139 acres of forest stands averaging 30-70 years old. This project will be implemented as the Missouri Ridge Thinning timber sale. Other actions include: up to 10 acres of fuels treatment, 4 acres of road right-of-way clearing for 1.2 miles of new road construction, and 2.8 mile of road renovation.
