Summary: The BLM has made a decision to implement the Upper Warnicke Timber Sale, the last of three timber sales analyzed in the Upper Siletz River Watershed Enhancement EA. This project entails density management on approximately 214 acres of forest stands between 50 and 57 years of age in the Adaptive Management Reserves and Riparian Reserves. Approximately 0.7 miles of temporary road will be constructed.
