Course is designed to primarily develop the resource advisor on identifying and evaluating impacts of fire operations on natural and cultural resources, promoting excellence in the integration of resource concerns, promoting better understanding and definition of the role of resource advisors among agency administrators, fire staff, and incident management teams, and identifying political concerns.
