Course Description: |
Course is designed to meet the training needs for initial attack Incident Commanders and Company Officers confronting wildland fire which is presenting a threat to life and property. |
Target Group: |
Incident Commander Type 4 (ICT4), or higher, company officers of structural fire departments, and others individuals making tactical decisions in the urban interface. |
Prerequisites based on Field Managers Course Guide: |
Students must have basic knowledge of structure and wildland firefighting operations. They must also be familiar with and understand their agency policy as it relates to interface fires. |
