The trail passes through forested and lush fern landscapes. From I-5 at Cottage Grove (Exit 174), travel east on Row River Road 19.4 miles to junction of Layng Creek Road (#17) and Brice Creek Road (#2470/22). Continue straight on Brice Creek Road, traveling 8.3 miles to the Brice/Champion Creek Trailhead just before the bridge. There is parking and a vault toilet at this location.
