Decision Record OR-103-08-09 Planning Completed
This is an instream restoration project to be conducted by the Elk Creek Watershed Council with part funding provided under Title II of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act. The project will install boulder weirs and logs at approximately 40 locations in a 1-mile reach of Yoncalla Creek for the purpose of improving habitat for the Oregon Coast steelhead trout and the Federally-threatened Oregon Coast coho salmon. The environmental effects of the project are consistent with those described for similar actions in the Roseburg District Aquatic Restoration Environmental Assessment (#OR-103-08-09)
