Summary: The Swiftwater Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) proposes to harvest timber in the Calapooya Watershed located in Section 17 of T24S R3W, and Section 17 of T25S R4W, W.M. (see maps, Appendix A through C). Approximately 226 acres were analyzed for potential harvest activities. New road construction and renovation or improvement of existing roads would also occur. Section II (pg. 3) of this EA provides a more detailed description of the Proposed Action Alternative.
