Summary: The proposal is to harvest timber in the Elk Creek and Upper Umpqua Analytical Watersheds located in Sections 9 and 17; T. 24 S., R. 6 W., W.M. (see maps, Appendix A through C). The proposed project area is approximately 11 road miles northwest of Sutherlin and 10 air miles north northwest of Roseburg, Oregon. Approximately 120 acres were analyzed for potential harvest activities.
