Summary: This Environmental Assessment (EA) has been prepared for the Roseburg Bureau of Land Management - Swiftwater Field Office's for multiple projects within the Upper Umpqua watershed. The BLM is considering a number of actions to more quickly develop late-successional habitat characteristics used by northern spotted owls and marbled murrelets, to reduce erosion and landslide risks, and to improve aquatic habitat. Another objective is to provide a commercial product for the economy.
