| Summary: The proposal is to harvest timber in the Elk Creek watershed, located in Section 3, T. 22 S., R. 4 W., W.M. (see maps, Appendix A through C). A portion of the trees in this stand would be removed to provide additional growing space for the remaining trees. The proposed sale area is approximately 29 road miles north of Sutherlin and 33 air miles north northeast of Roseburg, Oregon. Approximately 520 acres were analyzed for potential harvest activities. | |
