| Summary: It is the Swiftwater Field Manager's decision to authorize implementation of the Wash Basin commercial thinning timber sale in Section 09, T24S, R07W, W.M. and in Section 31, T23S, R07W, W.M. This timber sale is located within the GFMA land-use allocation. The stands that will be treated are second-growth forest between 39 to 44 years of age. Wash Basin would provide approximately 2,063 MBF of merchantable timber available for auction. This decision is subject to administrative remedy under 43 CFR § 5003.2 and 5003.3. | |
