Summary: It is the South River Field Manager's decision to authorize replacement of a large stream-crossing culvert located on a BLM easement on private land in the SEžSEž, Section 21, T. 30 S. R. 4 W., W.M. where BLM Road No. 30-4-21.0 crosses over Beals Creek. Field Office hydrology and fisheries personnel, and District Office engineering staff have identified the culvert as a source of sediment and an impediment to upstream and downstream passage by juvenile fish, and other aquatic organisms.
