Summary: It is the South River Field Manager's decision to offer the Screen Pass Timber Sale, partially implementing Alternative Two described in the Revised Can-Can Regeneration Harvest Project Plan EA (pp. 4-8). The sale will contribute an estimated 4,400 thousand board feet of timber toward the objective of an annual allowable sale quantity (ASQ) of 45 million board feet for the Roseburg District. The sale consists of three units located in Sections 23 and 26, T. 31 S., R. 5 W., W.M. The total harvest area is 113 acres allocated entirely to the General Forest Management Area.
