| Summary: The purpose of the proposed action is commercial thinning and density management of dense and generally even-aged mid-seral forest stands. This would be accomplished by the commercial thinning of approximately 577 acres in the General Forest Management Area, 358 acres of density management in Connectivity/Diversity Blocks, 320 acres of density management in Riparian Reserves, and 395 acres of density management in Late-Successional Reserves (LSRs). Individual unit acres by land use allocation, and the manner by which commercial thinning and density management operations would be accomplished are found in Tables 2-1 and 2-2 (pp. 17 and 20). | |
