Summary: The South River FY 2009 Commercial Thinning Environmental Assessment (EA) proposed and analyzed approximately 866 acres of commercial thinning in the Matrix allocations with density management in associated Riparian Reserves, and 306 acres of density management in Late-Successional Reserves. The Kryptonite Commercial Thinning project is a component of the proposed action, described under Alternatives Two and Three (EA, pp. 5-14).
