Summary: Bear Bones Density Management will occur on four units (approximately 215 acres) of mid-seral, second-growth forest approximately 59 -- 77 years old located in the Elk Creek/Umpqua River Watershed in Section 27 of T. 21 S., R. 4 W., Willamette Meridian (see Figure 1). Of the 215 acres of treatment, approximately 2 acres will be removed for the development of spur roads and rights-of-ways.
