The BLM conducts landscape level analysis and assessment of existing conditions on a given geographic area. These documents are useful for developing site-specific management recommendations. The most familiar types of analysis/assessment are Watershed Analyses and Rangeland Health Standards Assessments. Preparation of some landscape level analyses is done in coordination with other federal, state and local agencies and other stake holders.
