Redmond Caves Recreation Area - Other Activities

Due to the fact that this area is within the Redmond city limits and is such a small area, firearm discharge (both target shooting and hunting), and trapping are not allowed.

The Upper Deschutes Resource Management Plan (2005) also prohibits physical geocaches in this 40-acre parcel of land.

Group and Commercial Use of the Redmond Caves is only allowed under a Special Recreation Permit and must comply with all provisions in the Federal Caves Resource Protection Act (1988).
