Central Motorized Area Access and Directions

Two planned trailheads will provide access to the OHV trail system.

North Barr Trailhead

This trailhead will be located south of State Highway 126 and west of Barr Road. Development is planned for Fall/Winter 2011 - 2012. Once developed, this trailhead will provide access to the ODOT mineral material site (cinder pit) instead of Barr Road.

Buckhorn Road Trailhead

This trailhead will be located north of the State Highway 126 and west of Buckhorn Road.

Important access changes for the area include:

• OHV staging and entry to the trail system is no longer available at the south end of Barr Road.
• Staging and access is no longer provided at Deep Canyon, on either side of State Highway 126.
• With development of the North Barr Trailhead, informal use parking areas on the east side of Barr Road will be closed.
