The Bureau af Land Management (BLM) Prineville District, is proposing to authorize the construction of a .35 mile water pipeline within the Herbert Asher Allotment. The project is located about 13 miles south of Kimberly, Oregon and 1.5 miles west of the John Day River and State Route 19. The proposed pipeline would provide water for authorized livestock and wildlife that use the forage on the allotment. The BLM would provide the materials for the project, while the grazing lease holder would install the pipe and trough.
