Summary: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Prineville District is preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impacts (FONSI), in response to an application for a road right-of-way across public lands. The proposed road would provide access for the applicant to develop the quarry on their private land and haul mineral material ½ mile on public land, 1½ miles across their private land, to Quaale Road (a county road), then north on Highway 97.
