Summary: Conduct a prescribed burn on 30-50% of a 11,500 acre unit of BLM land. Burning will be done in a mosaic pattern with a maximum patch size of 250 acres. In addition about 5 acres of trees may be felled around and within the perimeter of the unit to reduce the threat for throwing embers outside the control line. Hand ignition in combination with aerial ignition will be used.
