Description:  

This dataset is a spatial representation of most of the Pacific Northwest dam facilities in the StreamNet database located within the geographic area depicted by the John Day Basin 3rd field hydrologic unit boundary.

Purpose:  

The intended use of this dataset was for analysis in the John Day Resouce Management Plan where the knowledge of the location of dams was important.
