Description:

This spatial dataset contains protection and restoration priority quartile rankings by fifthfield hydrologic unit (HUC5) for summer steelhead and spring chinook habitat in the John Day subbasin. Although the data was captured at the fifth field hydrologic unit level, the map extent is within the geographic area depicted by the John Day Basin third field hydrologic unit boundary (HUC). The priority information results from the Ecosystem Diagnosis and Treatment (EDT) model as part of the 2002-2004 Columbia River Basin (CRB) subbasin planning project mandated by the Northwest Planning and Conservation Council (NPCC).

Purpose:

The intended use of this dataset was for analysis in the John Day Resource Management Plan. This spatial dataset was developed by the Technical Outreach and Assistance to Subbasins Team (TOAST) to create maps to depict EDT results for the revised John Da
