Description:
This table contains protection and restoration priority quartile rankings by fifth-field hydrologic unit (HUC5) for summer steelhead and spring chinook habitat in the John Day subbasin. It was used in association with the spatial dataset fsh_aa_a_h3_huc5_priority_poly. Although the data was captured at the fifth field hydrologic unit level, the map extent for the spatial data is within the geographic area depicted by the John Day Basin third field hydrologic unit boundary (HUC). The priority information results from the Ecosystem Diagnosis and Treatment (EDT) model as part of the 2002-2004 Columbia River Basin (CRB) subbasin planning project mandated by the Northwest Planning and Conservation Council (NPCC).Purpose:
The intended use of this table was for analysis in the John Day Resource Management Plan where first quartile HUC5s for restoration potential of nine chinook and steelhead populations were identified. This table was developed by the Technical Outreach anFile Type:
