Minerals
The UDRMP designated different areas as closed to surface occupancy (i.e., oil and gas leasing) and mineral material mining (e.g., rock quarries and cinder pits). These areas are shown on the Cline Buttes Minerals Map. The Tumalo Canal ACEC was designated closed to both surface occupancy and mineral material sites. The Peck's Milkvetch ACEC is closed to surface occupancy, with mineral material sites restricted as necessary to protect ACEC values.

The UDRMP further directs that lands within 1/8 mile of residentially zoned areas or designated recreation sites will be closed to development of mineral material sites. The extent of this closure at the time the UDRMP was completed is shown on the Minerals map.
The Minerals map also shows the location of mining claims in the Buckhorn Canyon area, and Site N, which is an area of interest for mineral material site development by ODOT.
