The Design Process
BLM will assist the public in developing recreation management themes, use areas, and/or trail corridor layouts. The public will be asked to help develop and/or identify:
- vegetation management areas and prescriptions
- trailhead locations and major access points
- conceptual road and trail layouts
- unresolved issues
- a list of design goals and standards for final road trail system and vegetation management
The BLM will use the design concepts developed by the public and ongoing input from those who can't attend meetings to create a reasonable range of alternatives that can be put out for public review.
