Trail Creek Forest Management Project Scoping Comments
Scoping is the process used to identify the range of issues, management concerns, preliminary alternatives, and other components of a NEPA document. It involves internal and public viewpoints. The BLM mailed a scoping flyer to 39 individuals, adjacent landowners, businesses, organizations, Tribes, and other government agencies. In addition, the BLM emailed notification of the scoping flyer's availability on the project website to nine others, including Forest Service, Upper Rogue Watershed Council, and Jackson County Commissioners. In response, we received five scoping comment letters or emails; all responses are listed below. Attachments are not included but are available on request.
