| Summary: The Glendale Resource Area of the Medford District BLM is revising the proposed action of the Wolf Pup Project to 403 acres of commercial thinning and associated road work and post activity fuel reduction on federal land from 528 acres of regeneration harvest, shelterwood cutting, and overstory removal; 1,519 acres of commercial thinning; and associated road work and post activity fuel reduction. The Wolf Pup Planning Area is located 1 mile west of the community of Wolf Creek and Interstate 5 on federally managed land. The legal description is T.33S., R.7W., Sections 9, 10, 11, 13-15, 24-26, 31, 34, 35; T.33S., R.6W., Section 31; T.34S., R.7W., Section 1 within Josephine County. The Revised Wolf Pup Scoping Report is available for review at the Grants Pass Interagency Office of the BLM, 2164 NE Spalding Avenue, Grants Pass, OR. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., closed on holidays. The scoping report includes a project map and a description of proposed activities.
