Summary: The decision is to harvest approximately 40 dead trees from the area south of the Riparian Reserve in Section 7, totaling approximately 10 acres. The trees will be cut, yarded, decked and hauled for use in riparian enhancement projects by the Illinois Valley Soils and Water Conservation District. The trees will be supplied by BLM as an in-kind contribution for a habitat enhancement project on Deer Creek.
