Summary: The Butte Falls Resource Area will reduce hazardous fuels by understory thinning and prescribed burning on 986 acres in the Pleasant Creek 6th field watershed. The project is located in the Wildland-Urban Interface in an area of high residential density. The project will remove conifer trees, hardwoods, and shrubs less than 7 inches in diameter at breast height.
