| Summary: The Butte Falls Resource Area has completed a categorical exclusion review and issued a decision to remove trees felled during a recent wind storm. During the storm, a swath of trees 24 miles long and 8 miles wide was blown down. The trees that will be removed are blocking BLM system roads or are leaning toward the roads. This action will provide private land owners with access to their lands, allow the BLM to access Federal lands, and provide the public with safe passage on BLM roads. | |
