Summary: This is an integrated forest management project being planned in the East Fork Illinois watershed in Josephine County. Resource conditions on BLM land will be evaluated for potential forest health and resource restoration treatment needs and opportunities. The project may include forest stand thinning and timber harvesting, riparian restoration work, prescribed burning, understory thinning to reduce fire hazard, young forest stand thinning and brushing, and various types of road work.
