Summary: The Medford District analyzed the impacts of implementing an Integrated Weed Management Program on BLM lands. The program goals are to reduce populations of alien plant species to a level that will allow for the restoration of native plant species and provide for overall ecosystem health. An appropriate combination of weed control methods, including manual, mechanical, biological, and chemical methods, will be used.
