Summary: The Ashland Resource Area of the Medford District Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is proposing to grant a right-of-way for the use of approximately 11,000 feet of existing road, and the construction of approximately 1,445 feet of new road for the purpose of providing the applicant with legal access (road ingress and egress) across public land to their private land parcel. In addition, the right-of-way grant would require the applicant to effectively block vehicle access along part of BLM road 38-4E-32.3 by installing a gate, and to decommission a user created jeep road identified in the vicinity of the project area.
