Summary: This is an integrated forest management project being planned in the Deer Creek watershed in Josephine County. Resource conditions on BLM land will be evaluated for potential forest health and resource restoration treatment needs and opportunities. The project may include riparian restoration work, forest stand thinning and timber harvesting, prescribed burning, understory thinning to reduce fire hazard, young forest stand thinning and brushing, and various types of road work.
