| Summary: The Medford District Office manages over 5,000 miles of roads and proposes maintenance of these roads on a regular maintenance schedule and for emergency repair to public safety and to protect other resources. Maintenance work consists of blading and shaping; cleaning ditches, catch-basins and culverts; brushing, repairing pot holes; road surfacing; removing landslides as well as other activities such as installing signs to provide for safe use of BLM roads by the public and to protect natural resources. | |
