Summary: The proposal is to improve a 40-acre parcel of BLM land for an education site. The BLMs Environmental Outreach Group (EOG) has developed a new outdoor environmental education program in which students spend one day circulating through resource stations consisting of hands-on, interactive activities. This 40-acre, mostly level parcel with easy access lends itself to this type of use. The area was once a semi-developed campground and has an existing infrastructure of roads.
