Summary: The BLM is proposing to mow a population of meadow knapweed (Centaurea pratensis), an Oregon State listed noxious weed, to prevent the population from seeding in 2010. The meadow knapweed is located on 25 acres of BLM land that is boarded by River Banks Road to the south, the Rogue National Wild and Scenic River to the north, and private land to the east and west.
