Selection harvest, commercial thinning, slash disposal, and road work will be completed on BLM-administered lands in Township 34 South, Range 3 East, sections 27 and 35 and Township 35 South, Range 3 East, sections 1, 2, 3, 11, 12, and 17. | |

| Summary: The Butte Falls Resource Area has analyzed proposed forest management activities on up to 736 acres of matrix land and 16 acres of riparian reserves. Proposed activities are regeneration harvest, shelterwood harvest, selection harvest, commercial thinning, density management, riparian thinning, and tree planting. Activity slash would be lopped and scattered, hand piled and burned, or removed for biomass utilization. Also proposed are road renovation, road decommissioning, temporary spur road construction, and road realignment. The project is located 3 to 7 miles east of the town of Butte Falls, Oregon in Township 34 South, Range 3 East, sections 27 and 35; and Township 35 South Range 3 East, sections 1, 2, 3, 11, 12, and 17. | |
