| Summary: The Glendale Field Manager has issued a Decision Record for the Revised Reuben Hazardous Fuel Reduction Project to approve 1,076 acres of hazardous fuel reduction treatments, of which 432 acres would have biomass removal. A previous environmental assessment (DOI-BLM-OR-M080-2009-0005-EA) for this project was made available for public review in December 2009. Based upon a review with agency direction, NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) adequacy, and consideration of public comments a decision was made by the Glendale Field Manager to provide a revised environmental assessment (DOI-BLM-OR-M080-2010-011-EA) that revises the Proposed Action and portions of the environmental analysis. | |

Associated activities includes 57 miles of road maintenance. The Project Area is located within Douglas county, Oregon on BLM managed land west of the town of Glendale, Oregon. The legal description of the Project Area is Township (T) 32S, Range (R) 7W, Section 9, 15, 17, 19, 21, 25 and T 33S, R 7W, Section 3, 9, & 11. | |
