| Summary: This document describes the Field Managers decision to authorize firewood cutting on an estimated 448 acres in the Galls Firewood Cutting Project Area. The legal description of the project area is T. 36 S., R. 3 W. in sections 29, 30, 31, and 33; T. 37 S., R. 3 W., in sections 5, 6, 8, 9 and 17; T. 37 S., R. 4 W., in section 15. (see EA Map 1). Trees will be selected and marked by the BLM according to the silvicultural prescriptions described in the EA. Material will be provided as firewood under permits issued and administered by the BLM. | |
