Summary: The Butte Falls Resource Area will treat up to 250 acres to release existing conifers and selected hardwoods from competition for moisture, nutrients, light, and growing space. Treatments include precommercial thinning, brush and hardwood cutting, girdling, and hardwood clump control. These activities will occur in fiscal years 2009 and 2010.
