Summary: The BLM will prune limbs on conifer trees on about 250 acres located throughout the Butte Falls Resource Area. The pruning will improve wood quality on selected conifers, reduce susceptibility to blister rust on pruned sugar pine, and reduce continuity of ladder fuels on pruned conifers.
