Summary: The BLM is proposing to pull dirt displaced from tire ruts back into the ruts to restore natural contours to an area that has recently been damaged by illegal OHV use. The area to be restored is just outside the Rough and Ready Area of Critical Environmental Concern. Hand tools would be used to carefully restore the area as close as possible to natural conditions. The area of the ruts is approximately 5 feet by 43 feet.
