Summary: The action reviewed in this document is the cutting by hand, with chainsaws or other tools, of Western juniper on aproximately 1,600 acres of historic sage grouse habitat. The goal of the project is to improve habitat conditions for possible reintroduction of sage grouse by removing encroaching juniper and maintaining or improving sagebrush understory.
