Resource Advisory Committee

The Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000 (P.L. 106-393) provides for federal funds to flow to counties that traditionally have been supported by timber payments. Below you will find information about the bill. Resource Advisory Committees will make recommendations on how a portion of this money is used on watershed-enhancement projects which benefit public land and resources.

Announcements

The Coos Bay District RAC will meet August 19, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Coos Bay District Office, North Bend, OR. An opportunity for members of the public to address the RAC will be available at 11 a.m.
