The proposed action is to use rangeland drills to re-seed approximately 1,375 acres with blue bunch wheatgrass, basin wildrye, Indian ricegrass, bottlebrush squirreltail, lewis flax, western yarrow, alfalfa, crested wheatgrass, four wing salt brush, and forage kochia. The purpose and need for this re-seeding maintenance project is to improve forage quality, stabilize soil, prevent invasion by exotic and noxious weeds, and increase diversity and structure within the plant community for wildlife habitat.
