Summary: Removal of previously piled material at Glass Buttes abandoned mine to be used for a base to the shoulder of Highway 20 (which will be capped by material obtained from a Title 23 material source). The work would also include adding material (not from the abandoned mine area) on portions of the access road from Highway 20 to the source material as well as grader work and adding water to the access road (see map) to minimize the effects of heavy equipment during that time of work (e.g. during times of transporting material).
