Summary: The proposed action is to acquire fee title to a 16.9l acre parcel and a 16.41 acre parcel within the Steens Mountain Wilderness from John Brandis III. Mineral rights will not be acquired at this time as they are owned separately by Harney County. BLM will pay market value as determined by a qualified fee appraiser under contract with the Office of Valuation Services with the Department of the Interior.
